What this is
Visakhapatnam’s register and almanac: where things are, when they run, what they cost, what changed, for the resident who lives here and the visitor who arrived this morning. Not a listicle, not a brochure.
Where the facts come from
Places, stops and neighbourhoods come from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL). Sunrise, sunset, weather and the sea come from open-meteo (CC BY 4.0), read each morning; the moon is computed. Each dataset has its own line on What’s new with its licence and the date we read it. We do not copy Google Maps, JustDial or Instagram.
The drip
The record grows in order: the almanac, then places, then transport timetables, then projects and venues from our sister registers, then services and events from the institutions’ own pages. Nothing is published without a date, and a fact we could not read stays “not on record”.
Our reader
We read public pages as vizag.in/0.1 with a link here, one page at a time. Write to hello@vizag.in.
On record today: 4,100 places, 303 stops, 303 neighbourhoods. A Harmony Infotech project.
